Christmas Spirit

It was a Christmas morning. I ran outside to see the presents by the Christmas-tree. I found them and started opening, but then I heard a strange sound! I got a bit scared so I ran inside. After a few hours I headed outside and looked around for the thing that made the sound. I went to the forest near us. I kept looking around, but didn't find anything... I turned around to go back home. But as I turned, a strange creature appeared in front of me! It looked like a dear, it wore a wreath on it's neck. But the strange part was.. it was transparent!  I reached to touch it, but then it flew and disappeared. Once I came back home I looked it up. But I didn't find anything.

The next morning I took some carrots and went to the same spot as yesterday. The Strange Deer appeared once again. I reached my hand with the carrots in it to the creature. It bowed and turned more visible! It quickly ran away and disappeared once again. It was some encounter! A few months ran by and then I realized... it only appeared during Christmas! Could it be that it was The Christmas Spirit? I hope our roads will meet once again.

The Ghost Owl

The Ghost Owl

 

 

It was a dark night. I was standing outside near the woods. I heard a twig snap so I turned around. I didn't see anything. I heard the wind rustle, it sent a shiver down my neck. I turned around again only to see nothing. Then I heard a screech. A loud and mysterious sounding screech. I saw something, silently flying over. It was pure white. It made absolutely no noise while it flew. I saw it turn and go deeper into the woods. I was curious so I followed it into the woods. I was trying to walk as quietly as I could so that I wouldn't disturb the creature. I was trying to follow it but it could fly so much faster than I could walk. I found myself gradually walking in circles trying to figure out where it had landed. Then I heard a tree move. Several leaves fell slowly to the ground. I looked around and saw a ghostly shape flying again. I ran off after it.

 

Then I heard another screech. This one was louder than the last. I looked up and right above me was an owl-like shape. I gasped at it. It was beautiful. It almost looked like a real ghost. It finally landed on a tree where I could see it. I saw it's dark brown eyes and white heart-shaped face. It was staring right at me. It was alert and slightly nervous looking. I crouched down so I wouldn't scare it. It seemed to calm down somewhat. I didn't dare say anything or move. It started to swivel it's head around. It looked back and then forward at me again. I saw that it was a Barn Owl. A rare type of owl that likes forest and open fields. Slowly it closed it raised it's wings...

 

Then it flew off silently deeper into the woods. I watched it fly away. It was free to fly wherever it wanted to. It was free to hunt and to live. I walked out of the woods to let it have it's peace. So that is could hunt mice and rodents. I will always remember the beauty of it's face and how silent it's wings are.

Story Example

The Mythical Forest

It was a dark night. Stars were covering the night-sky. I was going to bed, then I heard a strange sound, so I looked trough the window and spotted a strange light in the spooky forest next to our house. I took a flashlight and put a coat on and ran to the forest to check it out.

Once I have made it to the forest the strange light kept going even further from me. I didn't give up, I ran after it. I approached a waterfall. I thought to myself: ''could the light gone to the other side of the waterfall?''

I thought it impossible to believe. Then after a few moments, I remembered reading about caves behind Waterfalls, so I took the chance and ran trough the strong pours of the waterfall water. And it was true! There was a cave behind the waterfall! It was really Beautiful, the spikes on the ceiling were sparkling from the water. But then I looked around for the light.

I went deeper and deeper to the cave. I didn't find anything for a long time. Then I found the light! but it was not alone, there was another light with it. then I spotted a strange pointy thing. I touched it... it was scaly and wet... then I pointed my flashlight at it... and then I spotted a HUGE growling face that was staring at me! It was a dragon like face! I screamed from the fear and tried to run away. The creature roared and roared! I finally got out of the cave. The next morning I looked up the description of the creature. And it was no other then the Loch Ness Monster!!!! I didn't tell anyone so it would be safe, after all it is a legendary beast. If the gouverment would have found out it would take it away. It was some night.

Posting a story help

Hello everyone! so I thought since we will get a few authors, I should help you with the making of the story!

so that's how the stories should be composed. I will make an example later today!! so until tomorrow!

Hello everyone! I have made a new blog as you can see. In this blog, I will hire authors from ALL over the world! If you'd like to join send me an email with your email and nickname to furrythefatcataj@gmail.com.

Once I get your Email and nickname, I will introduce everyone to you with a post and make you an author.

You must include a reason why you should be an author. As an author, you will be able to write stories you have made up. So let's just say this is a blog filled with creativity! If you will write a LOT of stories (3+) you will be turned into an ADMINISTRATOR. Which means, you will be able to hire new authors and have the full access to the blog.

There are no rules. Just try not to post gross or too scary stories.
